Each area combines direct services with counselling, advocacy and linkages to government schemes - delivered by trained community staff, peer educators and volunteers.
Children Development, Protection and Education
SHIP works to improve the quality of life of Children Living with HIV (CLHIV) and HIV-affected children through a holistic child development approach. The organization ensures that every child has access to healthcare, education, nutrition, psychosocial care, protection and opportunities for a dignified future. Special emphasis is given to reducing stigma, improving treatment adherence, strengthening families and promoting child rights.

- Identification and enrolment of CLHIV and HIV-affected children
- Nutrition support to improve health and immunity
- Educational assistance including school enrolment, scholarships, books, uniforms and learning materials
- Counselling and psychosocial support for children and caregivers
- Treatment adherence counselling and referral to ART Centres
- Home-based care and family strengthening
- Child protection and prevention of discrimination in schools and communities
- Life skills education and adolescent development programmes
- Formation of caregivers' groups and child support groups
- Linkages with government schemes and social protection programmes
- Promotion of positive living and healthy lifestyles among adolescents living with HIV
Women Empowerment and Gender Equality
SHIP empowers Women Living with HIV (WLHIV) and vulnerable women by promoting leadership, health, economic independence and equal participation in society. The organization works to eliminate gender discrimination while improving women's access to healthcare, legal rights, livelihood opportunities and community leadership.

Livelihood Promotion and Economic Strengthening
SHIP enhances the socio-economic wellbeing of PLHIV and vulnerable families by promoting sustainable livelihoods, financial inclusion, social security and income-generating opportunities. The organization supports families in becoming economically self-reliant while reducing poverty and vulnerability.
