Equipping young people with life skills, sexual and reproductive health knowledge and peer leadership to navigate adolescence and HIV with confidence.

- Peer Education
Adolescents living with or affected by HIV face a unique set of transitions - physical, emotional and social - often without accurate information or safe spaces to ask questions. SHIP's Youth & Adolescents programme meets young people where they are, with life-skills education, sexual and reproductive health information and mental health support delivered by trained peer educators.
By building a cadre of youth peer educators from within the community, SHIP ensures that young people hear accurate HIV information from voices they trust, and that adolescents living with HIV have role models who understand their journey.
